How Much Of Your Time Is Spent On #Facebook? And #Pinterest? [Infographic]
Posted by anisesmith

We all know that Social Media is huge for individuals to connect with friends, family and loved ones and for businesses to engage, connect and network with customers. Facebook, in particular has had a huge effect on our lives and our time. Facebook has allowed people to connect with new friends and long lost friends of past. I have been able to connect with some people that I went to elementary school with and trust me that was quite a while ago. Even with being able to connect with so many people for person reasons, the greatest impact has been in extending my business network.
The ability to connect on a business level with social media is HUGE! Take a look at the Infographic below to give you an idea of the impact that social media has played in our lives and why we must have a business presence on these channels. Also, you may need to add Pinterest to your mix if you haven’t already.

google+ FOURTH???? Seriously!!!!!!!!!! maybe that will change in 6 months.
Facebook is great but it is too crowded and too many people sharing useless information like what they had for breakfast this morning so as much as facebook is a great platform, i avoid it because of the stupidity of their users. Moreover, when i post an article from my blog i sometimes feel i am screaming in the wind because usually people log on facebook to have fun or waste time thus they ignore any academic or intellectual content.
Tell me i am not the only one who feels this way
Hi Timour, Thanks for taking time to read and leave a comment. I am not surprised that Google+ is not as high on the list. People are very resistant to Google+, It is very unfortunate because it is a great platform. I find that I get better interaction on Google+, than Facebook which I get more shares than anything. I agree that Google+ is indeed more for business and intellectual discussion and Facebook is more recreational. That’s one of the reasons that hardcore Facebook users are very resistant to Google+. All social media platforms are so different demographically so I just tweak and share my content according to demographic. You should create a Facebook group to share more intellectual content, I find that my friends that blog a bit share most of their content within groups and its a great atmosphere for dialogue and discussion. You can also create a Facebook list and target share that content to only those lists of people that would be inclined to enjoy it more.
It would be nice to connect with people that blog and take their business/hobby seriously. Can you share these blogging facebook group so i can join and interact with the community?
Also if you have some free time please check out my blog at http://timourrashed.com/blog, would love to get your feedback.
Thanks
