Augmented Reality Business Cards Taking Your Business To The Next Level
We all know that technology has changed our daily lives and how we do business. Some companies are really up on their game and embracing these changes and some are not. The companies that are on their game and truly embracing technology will really utilize new technology to propel their marketing efforts to the from of the pack, moving beyond their competitors.
Digital marketing has really transformed how we do practically everything; I would say that there is not a single industry that has NOT been affected by the growth of digital media.
One of the biggest changes that we’ve made in the past few years is how we consume media. We’ve gone from a traditional print world to a world that has a very digital focus. We have gone beyond just computer use to tablets and mobile and this growth is a total game changer.
Traditional marketing strategies are now being utilized in conjunction with digital marketing strategies to take marketing to a new level. One of the coolest displays of this is Augmented Reality Business cards, this technology blurs the world between what is real and what is computer generated. This allows you to put a really cool spin on your traditional old business card.

This is an awesome around the corner thinking type item…will they be affordable to small businesses or will they be more appropriate for a jaw dropping unique presentation…I’m interested enough to do more research!
Hey Jerry!
Thanks for taking time to write, comment and always give blog love. It is greatly appreciated!!! Augmented Reality is becoming more popular as mobile devices become more sophisticated. We are moving full steam ahead with this kind of technology through mobile apps. I wrote my 1st blog post about Augmented Reality about 2 years ago and we have progressed so much with this technology since then. This is definitely on point for small businesses and I think would be a great move for the music industry.
Hi Anise,
I absolutely agree with you about being a great move for the music industry…this is cutting edge…I would love to have an in-depth look at this product or walk through, whatever is available. As you know, I am the Executive Editor of The Hype Magazine as well as a contributor for Yahoo! My mouth is watering to know more so I could do a review or an article about this. I am not a marketing person but our magazine has an industry reach to people with the vision to see the worth of this development. Even if you wished to write it, I would be happy to post it with credit to your byline.
It is definitely cutting edged. The music industry is a perfect place for cutting edge marketing strategies and I find that music producers are some of the more receptive to the newer more cutting edge technologies.
I work on a project with a music producers involving a very closely related technology that involves QR codes, mobile devices and mp3 downloads.
Let’s definitely talk more about a contribution & byline to Hype magazine.
There’s a lot of hype around AR, and it’s a fun technology, full of really intriguing possibilities limited only by your imagination – BUT… until there are tools that enable individual creators to affordably get into the game, I see it being limited to corporations with big budgets. I hope their vision for AR allows it to thrive.
I read many of your posts as they are all generally excellent and extremely useful. THIS was the best I have read….fascinating and insightful. Thank you.
Hi Tony!
Thank YOU, SO much for reading and taking time to comment. I really APPRECIATE YOU! REALLY! I try to provide content that can be of use or that is thought provoking at the very least.
I started following this technology about 2 years ago and I am so excited to see where it is going now. We are moving so much closer to this and it is really AWESOME.
Thanks again Tony!
